21 Days To Change
For a New You in the New Year Take the 21 Day Challenge!
Every New Year many people start to make a list of resolutions, changes they want to make in their lives. Some say that it takes 21 Days to change a habit, but there is much debate about that number. In truth, the number of days it takes to change a habit may not really matter, because habits are responses to needs or beliefs—where we need to do the real work for change.
Dahn Yoga and LifeParticle.com are proposing a 21 Day Challenge, to develop the skill of watching yourself, for learning how to see the core of your habits. What matters is recognizing that your habits are one element in a continual cycle of thoughts, feelings, and responses. The 21 Day Challenge can be a tool for disrupting this cycle and replacing one or more of its components.
Our circumstances take shape according to our beliefs. If we change the core beliefs, our circumstances respond. The core beliefs can be transformed by patterns of action connected to strong feelings. Once we become aware of the belief-feeling combination that is triggering our actions, then we can effect change.
(1) Set a goal around some change you want to make in your life (one thing at a time is best).
(2) Use our daily meditations, affirmations, and exercises for 21 Days (dedicate 30 minutes a day).
(3) Use simple 3 second breathing tools throughout each day to remember your goal and watch yourself.
(4) Get support for your goal from positive-minded people by sharing on the LifeParticle Exchange.
Remember, small actions can have powerful cumulative effect!
